Tasting Notes

Cherry red colour with a ruby rim. Intense depth of colour, clear and bright to the eye. When swirling the glass, thick glyceric legs will appear.

Clean with notes of red and black fruit, ripe stewed fruit, vanilla, herbs, freshly ground black pepper, fennel, roasted notes. Fruit perfectly blended in with the oak. The initial presence of fruit then passes on to notes revealing the oak like toasted aromas and vanilla. With elegant aging in oak casks.

Robust wine with full taste in the mouth and balanced acidity. Round, embracing and velvety tannins, together with smoky notes, nuts, vanilla and cinnamon provide a long palate and persistent aftertaste. Very pleasant.

This wine is very well-balanced and round, yet still preserves his youth and primary aromas of the grape variety. Game or hearty meats are ideal to go with this wine. Well suited to accompany oily fish, red meat, different types of cheeses, appetizers etc.
Also recommended to be served on its own or in good company.
